File timestamps are saved in Syncplicity, when files are added to Syncplicity Cloud storage via the Syncplicity client. The Syncplicity client while uploading files will send the file time stamps i.e. The creation time, last-modified & accessed time to the Syncplicity server.
The Syncplicity client will create the file and set the meta data as sent from the server while downloading the files to the local machine from the Syncplicity cloud server, So the create time, last modified time and accessed time for files will be updated correctly only when using the Syncplicity client.
But in the scenario when user uploads the files directly to OFB (online file browser) or My Syncplicity website than Syncplicity system will have no idea of file metadata (either timestamps). In such cases Syncplicity server will set the current time as the create time to the uploaded files in Syncplicity cloud storage.
Example.
Timestamps of file capture.JPG before upload to Syncplicity Online file browser:
Created : Thusday, June 18, 2015, 9:38:02 AM
Modified : Thusday, June 18, 2015, 12:09:49 PM
Accessed : Thusday, June 18, 2015, 12:09:49 PM
Let's say capture.JPG was uploaded to -test-data folder in the online file browser, then it was automatically synced to the local machine "-test-data" folder via the Syncplicity client. Now we can notice the Syncplicity file browser has captured the current time when the file was successfully uploaded to the Online file browser as the create time for capture.JPG file.

Modified : Today, June 23, 2015, 1 hour ago
Accessed : Today, June 23, 2015, 1 hour ago
Screen shot is attached for reference.
The above behavior noticed in Syncplicity is as per design, because whenever the data is directly uploaded to OFB (online file browser) or My Syncplicity website than Syncplicity cloud storage will consider the uploaded time as the create time. Syncplicity online file browsers will have no idea of file metadata (either timestamps).
Note: If User wants to preserve the timestamps of a file than it is recommended to upload the files to Syncplicity cloud storage via the Syncplicity client.
