Problem Description : Customer was unable to login to Windows 7 Syncplicity Desktop Client
Customer is an EMC employee, he was using an EMC Managed Device which is CORP domain joined.
Logs shows error : Could not load file or assembly 'System.EnterpriseServices.Wrapper.dll' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
When you start Microsoft FRx Report Manager, you receive the following error message:
Resolution : This error is caused by a corrupted Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 file.
Verify that Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 is installed. You can do this by opening Control Panel and then clicking Add or Remove Programs. Scroll down the list to find .Net Framework 2.0.
If Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 is installed you will have to uninstall the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and reinstall it.
In this scenario, customer was running on .NET Framework 1.1.
The problem is finally resolved by installing .NET framework version 4.5
