On-premises Storage by S3 Cloudian

I have a customer interested on to integrate an on-premises storage using S3 protocol and Cloudian as object storage. I see on the documentation Syncplicity Connector support S3 protocols other then NFSv3, any experience or warning for the integration with a Storage on-premises based on Cloudian OBJ Storage?

We don't have experience with this storage vendor, so don't have advice to provide regarding this implementation. We have not yet seen any S3 protocol installation work seamlessly, and we don't encourage using this protocol with other storage suppliers.
