Syncing at scheduled times

Can i set up my Syncplicity to only synchronise at certain periods?
i have a restricted satelite internet connection and can obtain free download space during the night that will not compromise my total allowed usage and not slow down my speed.

Regards

The Syncplicity mobile clients permit controlled syncing - not by schedule but by type of connection (cellular v wifi) and remaining battery life.

On the desktop Syncplicity clients, syncing is continuous and there are no settings for scheduling syncing. We've passed the request to provide scheduled syncing to the product management team for consideration in a future release.

Until such a feature is added to the Syncplicity application, you might be able to do it using your internet router. Many routers have a firewall and/or a Parental Controls feature that allow you to block access to specific sites, often with day/time controls too. For example, a parent could block access to Facebook or YouTube for their kids during the day but allow it in the evening.

If your router doesn't allow it, your computer's firewall should have the ability to block the Syncplicity access but most don't have a time-based control system so you would have to turn it off/on manually. You could also look at some free or cheap firewall programs like Avast or AVG which might have a time-based control.
