How to enable Sync Status panel on a free user account?

As the Sync Status panel is enabled by a policy and free user accounts do not have it by default you can enable this feature by adding it as a registry key:

In order to do so you must open regedit.msc, you can do that by following one of the two options:

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type regedit, then select Registry Editor (Desktop app) from the results.
2. Right-click Start , then select Run. Type regedit in the Open: box, and then select OK.

 You must navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Syncplicity\1.0

Add dword:

EnableSyncStatus with the value 1

Afterwards restart the desktop client and you should be able to see the Sync Status menu when right-clicking on the desktop icon in the taskbar.
