How to perform clean install of Syncplicity desktop client?

To perform a clean installation of Syncplicity follow the steps below:

1 - Uninstall Syncplicity in Control Panel and delete old device name(s) in the website

2 - Delete the Syncplicity folder in C:\Program Files - if present. Make sure to delete Syncplicity and Syncplicity_LLC folders in this path, D:\Users(userID\AppData\Local.

3 - Delete the Syncplicity entry in the registry.

a. (Click Start Menu>>Run>>Type regedit>>hit Enter>> select HKEY_CURRENT_USER>>Software> right click Syncplicity and select Delete).

b. Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>Software> right-click Syncplicity and select Delete).

4 - Re-boot the computer

5 - Re-install Syncplicity

In the case the computer is being used by multiple users, the registry for all users needs to be cleaned HKEY_CURRENT_USER points to the currently logged-in user. If the computer is being shared with other users then you need to perform this for each ​user under HKEY_USERS
