Syncplicity Installation fails with error code 0x80004005


1. The Syncplicity installation never starts.

2. The Syncplicity.log file should have the matching error code:

System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): The requested service provider could not be loaded or initialized
   at System.Net.NetworkInformation.NetworkChange.AddressChangeListener.StartHelper(NetworkAddressChangedEventHandler caller, Boolean captureContext, StartIPOptions startIPOptions)
   at System.Net.NetworkInformation.NetworkChange.AvailabilityChangeListener.Start(NetworkAvailabilityChangedEventHandler caller)
   at Syncplicity.Client.ServiceLocator.Initialize()
   at Syncplicity.Client.Service.StartupSequence.StartInternalService()
   at Syncplicity.Client.Windows.App.MainWindow.Window_Loaded(Object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)

We tried to install other software and also noticed the same error 0x80004005 code. Screen shot attached.

Cause : As per Microsoft article # 956189 the error code "0x80004005" indicates that there is a network-related problems.

Please refer below Microsoft article for more details on the error code "0x80004005".

Fix : Customer should contact their IT team and have them to fix the network issue by following the fix mentioned the Microsoft article # 956189
