Configuring and managing StorageVaults

To view and manage your on-premise StorageVaults, go to the My Syncplicity web site from your browser and log in as an administrator. Select admin > settings then click the Manage StorageVaults link in the Enterprise Edition Features section.

NOTE: You can also access the Manage StorageVaults link in the Manage Policies page.

On this page, you can edit the maximum amount of storage that can be used by each StorageVault. However, you cannot reduce the allocated storage to less than the amount consumed.

The default StorageVault, Syncplicity Cloud Storage, cannot be modified unless you have a Syncplicity Data Suite Protection account. If you modify the cloud storage, do not set it to zero. Instead, leave enough storage allocated to the cloud StorageVault for your reporting needs since all Syncplicity report output files are exported to the cloud.

You can also choose to add a StorageVault or click the name of an existing StorageVault edit its properties. See Configuring and managing the on-premise storage settings for details on the settings.
