Description

Custom Branding

  • Enterprise Edition customers will be able to upload their own company logo and have it be displayed in place of the Syncplicity logo in the header of all logged in web pages viewed by their account users, the download page for files shared with external recipients, and on the new end-user self-signup pages

End-user Self-signup

  • To help drive corporate end-user adoption of Syncplicity file sync and share solution, administrators of Enterprise Edition accounts will be able to configure and distribute a URL that enables their end-users to self-signup for access to Syncplicity

 

Release Details:

Windows Desktop client: 3.4.7.10

  • Ability for users to hide file download notifications
  • Clients will show multiple shared folder notifications within the same window
  • Faster loading of Secure Shared Link dialog
  • Clients will now show personal storage usage instead of the entire company usage
  • Clients will sync saved Office files even when the files are open
  • Clients take users to the correct URL for creating Syncplicity accounts

 

Web Client and Server:

  • Custom Branding
    • Ability for IT administrators of Enterprise Edition accounts to upload their company logo and have it be displayed in place of the Syncplicity logo
    • The custom logo will be displayed on the following web pages:
      • All logged in web pages viewed by the customer’s end-users
      • Download page for files shared with both internal and external users
      • Web pages displayed during the end-user self-signup process
      • Custom domain login page
  • End-user self signup
    • Ability for IT administrators of Enterprise Edition accounts to configure and distribute a URL that enables their end-users to self-signup for access to Syncplicity
    • Users who click on the self-signup URL will first have to authenticate to the company's SSO identity provider to prove they are part of the company, before being automatically provisioned with an account
    • Administrators can optionally chose to restrict self-signup to users with email addresses that fall within specified email domains
    • Administrators can optionally chose to require users to confirm acceptance of the company's Acceptable Use Policy
