Uninstalling the Agent
To uninstall an Agent, you have to run the uninstaller put down by the installer, usually found in:
C:\Users\[Eddie]\AppData\Local\SkySync\v4\agent\uninstall.exe
where [Eddie]
is the user the Agent was installed under.
Uninstall Software
On your computer use Programs > Uninstall
Select Syncplicity DataHub
Restart Computer
You may be prompted to restart your computer.
Remove the Configuration Directory
The location of the configuration directory will depend the setting used for the Configuration Directory during the install. If the default value was used during installation, the configuration directory will be found in:
%programdata%
(C:\ProgramData
)
If the configuration directory is left blank, it will default to:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\SkySync
(where %LOCALAPPDATA%
is relative to the Service User)
Show Hidden Files
Folder Options > View tab > Show hidden files, folders and drives
Delete DataHub Folder
DO NOT delete this folder if you wish to restore your previous database.
The uninstall procedure will only remove the application. You must manually delete the database if you wish to have a full uninstall.
To delete your database, use the following command (e.g. C:\Program Files\Syncplicity DataHub):
.\skysync.exe db delete
