Single view of Syncplicity folders on Mac

When using Syncplicity on Mac, all folders are in a single place. You can also navigate the Syncplicity folders in Finder. You can right-click on a menu to perform actions such as starting or stopping synchronization.

Use Finder to manage Syncplicity folders

By default, your SyncDrive folders are located in Finder under Syncplicity.  Depending on the policy set by your Syncplicity administrator, all Syncplicity folders are available in Finder. However, if your administrator has set a policy to show only mapped folders in Finder, you see fewer folders. The following table describes the type of folders in the Syncplicity drive:

Remote folders that are in cloud storage but that are not synchronized on your computer.Double-click to open folder in your my.syncplicity.com account in a browser.Unavailable in Finder if your administrator has set policy to show only mapped folders.


To synchronize a folder, right-click on a folder and select Syncplicity → Synch to this computer.

To stop synchronizing a folder right-click on a folder and select Syncplicity → Stop Synchronization.
