Change the location of a synced folder

To change where a synchronized root folder is on your computer, do the following:

  1. Click the Syncplicity icon in your Windows taskbar to open the Syncplicity taskbar.
  2. Click Manage to open the Manage Folders window.
  3. Right-click the folder you want to move and click Remove from this device.
  4. With the folder still highlighted, click Add to this device
  5. In the Add Folders dialog, click Change location.
  6. Select the location to move the folder and then click OK.
  7. In the dialog, click Add to this device.

 

Save a folder back to your SyncDrive

To change the location of the folder back to your SyncDrive, do the following:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the root folder on your hard drive.
  2. Right-click on the folder and select Free up space.
  3. From the dialog click Free up space.
