With the Android search feature, you can find:

- Folders you have shared with others
- Folders others have shared with you if the folder owner has search enabled
You can find the file you want to download or share if you know the file name or a few keywords from the file content. Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen to begin a search.

Saved searches
You can save your regularly used search queries for later use. Enter the search keywords, select the filters you want applied and submit your search. Then tap the bookmark icon and select a name for your saved search.
When you access the Search menu next time, a list of saved searches is displayed. Tap on the X next to one of them to delete it, if you don't need it anymore.
The list of saved searches is device-specific and is not available across your other devices.
Search query syntax
Search queries are not case-sensitive. You can use a few characters from the beginning of the word that you are searching for in the file or folder name or in the file content. For example, searching for feed returns the folder Press Release December 2018 Feedback. In cases where file and folder names contain words separated by special characters (for example, press_release) you can perform a search on part of the word, such as release, and the search result returns the folder press_release
and the file PressRelease.pdf
. If you know the exact phrase that you are looking for, use double quotes to filter out other results.
The following table provides examples of the search query syntax.
