Supported MDM systems

Android and iOS

VMWare AirWatch MDM is supported using the native iOS Managed App Configuration, often referred to as ACE.

For Android, Syncplicity supports AirWatch 8 and 9 using Google Android Enterprise.*

For iOS, Syncplicity supports AirWatch 9 and the AirWatch hosted cloud deployment.

Android and iOS

You can integrate Microsoft Intune 5 with Syncplicity for mobile device management. This helps organizations give users access to corporate applications, data and resources from the device of their choice.*

MobileIron MDM is supported through the MobileIron AppConnect SDK integrated into the Syncplicity app. The current Syncplicity app from the App Store can be used. Syncplicity supports the MobileIron hosted cloud deployment. Older versions of MobileIron used with an on-premise deployment cannot be tested or guaranteed.

MobileIron MDM is supported through:

• MobileIron AppConnect Wrapper. MobileIron requires a separate MobileIron Wrapped APK from Syncplicity, which may not be the latest Android version of the Syncplicity app. Syncplicity supports the MobileIron hosted cloud deployment. Older versions of MobileIron used with an on-premise deployment can't be tested or guaranteed.
• Google Android Enterprise*. App wrapping or SDK integration is not necessary.
