View and resolve synchronization issues

On Windows and Mac clients, you can view errors that prevent files from synchronizing to your computer. This feature is available after your administrator enables the sync status policy for your organization.

Windows

When enabled, a triangle warning icon is displayed on the lower right of the Syncplicity taskbar panel if there are synchronization issues.

Click the triangle warning icon to view the Sync Status screen. This screen has controls for filtering files. You can filter to avoid viewing some or all of the errors. However, filtering does not resolve errors or remove the triangle warning icon from the taskbar.

Select a row and click Support article to open help documentation specific to the error for the selected file. The help describes the error and how to resolve it.

Mac

When enabled, a triangle warning icon is displayed next to the Sync Status drop-down option.

  1. From Syncplicity, click the Sync Status option to display unsynced items. 
  2. Select Details to open help information specific to that file.
  3. Click Support article to open help documentation that describes the sync error and how to resolve it.

To export the contents into a CSV file, select the Export CSV button and save the file.
